Drain Blocked causing Tidal Wave Onto Private Property.

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8148107.

As you can see from above photo, the drain is blocked causing a body of water to form, this has been an ongoing issue for a while. With the location having public transport for education nearby, there is ongoing constant traffic and this causes the vehicles to create a wave of water splashing over the residents property vehicles and also people. Please can this be reviewed for clearing.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 59 days.
