Confusing lane markings

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8147637.

On the approach to the Botley Interchange from the Cumnor direction, there are white lane markings indicating left lane is for turning left onto the A34 at the roundabout and the right is for going straight ahead towards the Botley Road or right to turn onto the A34 towards Heyford Hill. These white lane markings have then been blacked out as you get closer to the roundabout. Please clarify which lane is for which direction, as it is causing confusion as vehicles get onto the roundabout

  • Thank you for your report. The lane designation markings were installed as a temporary measure during road maintenance works, they were blacked out following teh works as they are no longer needed.
