Needs a zebra crossing and speed bumps

Sent to Leicester City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8138190.

Now the new housing estate has been built, cars go flying up Bevan Road even though it's supposed to be a 30mph road. There's no road marking at all and it's become a race track day and night. Lots of children cross the road where the cut through to monks crescent is and it's becoming dangerous especially as cars park do close to the dipped kerb where children cross. It's an accident waiting to happen and today a group of young girls nearly got cleared up by a car. Please add a zebra crossing and zigzags to stop people parking close to it. Alternatively a pelican crossing would be good. Speed bumps are definitely needed as the speed along there is ridiculous! After today's incident I wouldn't be surprised if more parents don't get in touch.
