Drains blocked

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8134236.

Heavy rain last week highlighted the lack of maintenance of the drains along this section of A4500. The water was crossing the road as the drains were not accepting the water. Each drain passing the water to the next, and to the next and so on until it crossed the road.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the flooding has been assessed and requires a Priority 4 response. We will schedule drainage investigation work to be completed within 26 weeks. When the investigation has been completed, we will inform you of our findings and course of action. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 is 59 days.
