White "give way" road markings have been vandalised with red paint

The give way markings at the junction onto the A45 have been vandalised with red paint, which is not reflective and greatly reduces the visibility of the give way markings, where the local road joins the A45 at what is already a dangerous junction.

A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 59 days.
