Flooded road
Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8132095.
Im a cyclist and keep getting splashed by cars driving through this flooded road. Cars are now going into oncoming traffic to avoid hitting water which I took a picture of. This has been a problem before and never gets looked at. There's either a completely blocked drain or worse no drain. Will council finally fix this before there's an accident?

We will investigate the issue. If additional clearance work is needed, the local highways team will prioritise the most urgent reports. Where possible, maintenance tasks will be grouped together in a schedule for efficiency.
Sometimes during periods of heavy rain, even a clear gully can be overwhelmed. Usually the water will drain away within an hour.
