Nettle growth on pavement

Any plan to remove these re-growing nettles any time soon? Roadside ones cut down by a resident (but only as they were trying to sell their property...).
Asking for all the nursery and primary age children (latter on push bikes) that use this stretch of pavement on their way to and from nursery school / library every weekday?
