Traffic racing

This road is used constantly as a cut through to avoid traffic lights junction of croxteth hall lane/oak lane. We have traffic going well over the 20mph limit. Today and this is not the first time I witnessed 2 cars racing and they were all over the road the occupants were laughing because they were racing, this is not a one off. This is not a race track it is my road where I and many other residents live. I have sent several reports to the council to seriously look at this issue and not to be told I need to do a petition. The council needs to please start doing their job or someone like a child will be killed because of speeding traffic.
