Overgrown bramble bush killing tree and plants on the other side of the fence.

Reported via mobile in the Overgrown vegetation in Council parks and green spaces category anonymously at 11:39, Sat 6 September 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8127865.

The brambles from the bush on the fie!d are completely overgrown. It has been a problem for some time but now it has got to the point where any attempts for us in the flats to deal with it are a drop in the ocean as the bush needs to be professionally clipped from the recreation ground. It is destroying our beloved tree and has become so invasive that it is strangling the bushes and plants in our garden and destroying the habitat of birds and wildlife. I've already noticed that there are fewer birds taking shelter in the tree and it's become dangerous and difficult to even do basic gardening tasks because there are thorns everywhere. I would really appreciate you tackling this as a matter of urgency. If the brakes are successful in killing the tree it will take many years to grow one of a comparable size.
