Please re-instate Keep Clear and the yellow hatched area as shown in the middle photo.

Recent tarmacing outside the village hall has covered the Keep Clear markings and the yellow hatched area. The main fire exit is the front entrance with the access ramp, so the bottom of the ramp must be kept clear to avoid blocking the exit. Also this area is required for access by emergency vehicles in case of accident or fire.

A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 59 days.
