Deep Narrow Rut in Middle of the Road

Reported via desktop in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 22:59, Wed 3 September 2025

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8116195.

Just one of a number of several very narrow deep ruts in the middle of the road surface on High Street after you turn onto it from the A5.

These appear to be in the location of were old white centre lines used to be which have been removed when new ones have been painted but this has lifted the top tarmac surface away and the ruts have eroded to become bigger and deeper.

Requires a patch repair.
