Large holes left by removal of apparatus in Bellevue Park

Reported via mobile in the Pothole/Trip hazard category by Claire fryer at 11:41, Thu 4 September 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8115962.

We had no warning of you removing our play apparatus. The children in this area are upset and feel undervalued. This park is an important resource to us and well used. You gave us no warning and carried out the work whilst children were watching and crying with sparks flying around. Please inform local people of your reasoning and replace the apparatus with something as good that lasts as long. You do not understand sustainably. That was a useable asset and now it will cost money and the planets resources to replace. Also fix the holes that you have left in the ground. Locals are not going to.let this one go lightly. It may be a poor neighbourhood but we care a lot about our shared open spaces. Unlike the council.
