The whole of the Misbourne Estate gets totally gridlocked with parents picking up from school

Reported via mobile in the Parking in a restricted space category anonymously at 15:30, Wednesday 3 September 2025

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8114284.

Everyday parents park in a residential parking zone while waiting to collect children. They refuse to move for residents. We all have to pay to park and also £1:40 for each visitor . I have recently had work done on my property and paid each day for a permit . We never see a parking warden during these times. A year ago I questioned a warden and he said they don’t issue tickets if parents are in the car ?? That is wrong as they can issue tickets under the road traffic act . I’ve seen a district nurse issued a ticket on an emergency call out. Can we please have some action before residents are force to go to the papers which I know some have been discussing. Many Thanks .

  • This has been passed to the Parking Services Team.

Subject to available resources, a civil enforcement officer (traffic warden) will go and assess, and if a vehicle is parked in contravention of a parking restriction, a penalty charge notice may be issued.
