Poor drainage and regular surface water flooding

Reported via desktop in the Flooding on Road category anonymously at 14:15, Wednesday 3 September 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8113778.

For several years the drainage at the junction of Edward Road and Kennington Road has been poor, with the road flooding regularly, impacting the path and the junction, and during heavier rainfall, the entire northbound lane is flooded. Edward Road surface water drains also regularly overflow, leading to more water flooding the junction as its the areas low point. Flooding typically persists for many hours after rainfall, up to 24 hours.
