Overgrown hedge

Reported via mobile in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 12:15, Wednesday 3 September 2025

Sent to Liverpool City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8113012.

The footpath width is reduced to around 50cm. People with prams cannot use it safely, couples have to walk in single file. No room for an adult holding a childs hand next to them. This is due to the neglect of the foliage growing over the wall. It has been steadily getting worse over the years. This is the third time I have reported it in the last couple of years. It is right up to the corner of Belmont Rd. and a lot of HGVs turn here to access the industrial eststate, highly dangerous for pedestrians.

Updates

  • I recieved an email from the council on the 5th Sept saying it would be inspected within ten days. The hedge is still untouched.
