Road surface breaking up

Reported in the Potholes category anonymously at 18:50, Sun 17 April 2016

Sent to Middlesbrough Council 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 810404.

A large portion of Earl's Court Road (mainly the part that runs alongside Stainton Way) was re-surfaced about a year ago, but for some reason this work stopped short of the the junction of Earl's Court Road with Enderby Gardens. This section has continued to deteriorate, despite being patched up (badly) on a regular basis. The surface is very loose, there is copious amounts of gravel which flies up as you drive along and will prevent anybody from stopping quickly should a child run out - whilst this is a 20mph road this limit is rarely adhered to and if nothing is done about this road surface it remains an accident waiting to happen.
