Overgrown hedge blocking footpath

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8102548.

No. 29 waynflete avenue, brackley, nn13 has a yearly occurance of overgrown front hedge which is now covering the public footpath meaning we have to walk on the muddy verge to pass. not suitable with a double buggy or wheelchair. The owners are told yearly to chop it back but only when told.

  • Investigation: Completed (Reported to a third party) - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that the vegetation is the responsibility of the landowner. In accordance with the WNC Network Management Plan, we will contact the landowner and request they cut back their vegetation within 14 days of receipt of our correspondence. We will reinspect the vegetation to ensure they have complied.
