Hanging baskets over pavement

Reported via iOS in the Overhanging Vegetation from private land category anonymously at 12:02, Mon 1 September 2025

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8102313.

Multiple hanging baskets are overhanging the pavement at head height. This is a narrow pavement which is surrounded by pedestrian guardrails.

As well as being head height there are safety implications if these baskets were to fall.

  • Hanging baskets are still in position over the highway. Most of the these baskets are at head height and certainly below 8ft. It appears that someone has trimmed the long dangling foliage but the issue remains over this narrow, restricted public highway.
