Water level in duck pond fallen drastically

Reported via desktop in the Parks/landscapes category anonymously at 14:06, Sunday 31 August 2025

Sent to Enfield Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8098311.

The water level in the White Webs duck pond has been allowed to fall over past months. The fish are now struggling to survive and some have been found floating dead. One end of the pond now has exposed mud and is turning into grassland due to no water level. The other end of the pond is now barely deep enough for the ducks to swim , they are almost having to walk on the muddy bottom. This situation has been developing for months and is detrimental to the wildlife and amenity of Whitewebs woods.
