Road works haven't allowed for pedestrian and cycle movements

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8096403.

I'm worried that there is going to be an accident due to the roadworks at the bottom of Park Street. Pedestrians are signed into the cycleway and cycleway just been closed off suddenly halfway up the slope with no alternative provided and a kerb so you can't get onto the road. You can tightly u turn on to the road but between the lights so no idea if safe to progress. This route is heavily used by both pedestrians and cyclists and just so dangerous. Ironically the works are meant to be in part to improve routes aren't they?
