Many potholes along Church Lane

There are several potholes along Church Lane, with a large one between number 12 and 6, they are all getting worse and have been causing problems to drivers, cyclist and runners for many months.

  • Potholes here are ridiculous. The road serves numerous domestic properties and a business. I'm close to losing a wheel at this rate. A heavy downpour may result in a new lake being created and the council would need to fund a ferry crossing.

    I have been using this road for nine years, and it has been deteriorating every year. It is now full of potholes—one after another. The entire road needs to be resurfaced. It is clearly causing damage to my car.

    This adopted highway lane is becoming extremely difficult to drive down, having not been resurfaced for many years and will damage my car soon...

  • How long does it take to investigate? The best way to investigate is for the investigator to drive his/her own personal car down this road and see how it feels! The entire road is pothole ridden and is beyond the patch up repairs, it needs a complete resurface. It is inexplicable that recent resurface was done all the way between Kingston Blount and Chinnor, which was not really needed and Church lane is just left to ruin.

    I had reported the state of the potholes on Church Lane, Lewknor but unfortunately have not heard back.

    The potholes are getting worse i am afraid and repair will need to happen soon before some serious damage is done to someone's car.
