Union flags and St George's flags attached to lampposts.

Reported via mobile in the Street lighting category anonymously at 21:51, Friday 29 August 2025

Sent to Norfolk County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8093570.

Is Diss about to get a royal visitor? If not, what reason might there be for the sudden appearance of numerous Union and St George's flags attached to street light posts along Victoria Road and Park Road? What event could be so huge as to deserve such a display of patriotism? It's extremely distracting.

Updates

  • Rather than being removed, the flags have proliferated. Now in St Nicholas Street and Market Hill and along Frenze Road and Skelton Road.
