Overgrown vegetation

I reported this problem on 5 July under enquiry 22081801, Web ref 7812203. A Highways rep visited shortly after and said he would refer it to the footpath clearance people. He kindly strimmed the nettles from the gate at the top of the path so people could get through. While the nettles etc are now dying back, the elder have just got bigger. If something could be done it would be appreciated. Thank you
