Update to pass on to the drainage team

Might be useful, I caught the flooding red handed yesterday. I arrived shortly (10 - 15 mins) after a (very) heavy rain shower. A modest flood was developing/spreading. Barely a trickle in the underpasses from the cycle track surface, so I assume the water was coming from the main roundabout road surface. Water was bubbling up from 2 small gullies each side of the Kennington bound underpass, and also from one of the rectanglar inspection covers in the middle of the "Y" junction. Might be useful info for the drainage team. It has had 3 visits from the drainage team, but still not fully cleared (but they did clear an impressive amount of grey muck on one visit). A reminder if they could clear/hose the surface when they finish. Previous drainage visits have left grey sludge all over the cycle/pedestrian track, a potential slip hazard, plus leaves smelly mud on pedestrians' shoes. Thank you.

This floods multiple times per year. How about fixing the drainage properly? Seems like it was not built correctly.

Went to use the underpass this morning on foot and unable to get to P&R due to flooding. Had to turn back and take a detour to get to Abingdon Road which took 20 minutes. Please fix. A regular problem when it rains.

Only a small amount of rain last night and was like this at 9:30. Once rain gets heavy it will surely block it like it did last year

Came back at 17:00 after a day of light rain and it’s impassable by foot and pretty bad by bike
