Subsidence in road

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8064204.

Road has a hole in the tarmac and subsidence underneath, and now there is a worrying dip next to the hole. Despite the road closed signs, traffic including large aggregate lorries, farm vehicles , WODC bin lorries etc continue to use this unsafe road as normal

  • The official diversion route through Little Faringdon for this closure is becoming unusable again for average cars as the road surface worsens.

  • HIGHLY DANGEROUS

    Vehicles are continuing to use this bridge despite the closure and now the other side of the carriageway is beginning to collapse. Needs to be closed with immovable barriers before it collapses completely.
