Can't find the footpath

Looking from the main coast path, we couldn't find any indication of the footpath,apart from a signpost saying "Marsh Only, no access to village". We didn't want to access the village, but we would have liked to visit the Marsh. However, we couldn't, because the council evidently aren't bothering to maintain the footpath!

Council said they haven't got the resources to cut the path.
