Tree & branches overhanging property near exposed electricity lines

Reported via mobile in the Ash Tree located on Highway land category anonymously at 17:12, Thu 21 August 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8057685.

Tree needing overall trimming on land adjoining 20 Court Orchard, Wotton-Under-Edge, GL12 7JB

National Grid organised the trimming of trees and branches growing through and touching the bare electric wires next to the property on 14.08.25. but said "the council " are responsible for cutting trees and branches that do not touch the wires. The remaining trees and branches overhang the wires and grow close to the property and pose a danger to property and resident should they fall and are a real cause of concern. They need cutting as a matter of urgency. It took 11 months to organise the work done in August! Stroud District Council do not own the land and gave me Gloucestershire County Council contact details.
