Pothole over a metre long

There is a long narrow pothole almost the width of the left hand lane heading west on the a428 towards long Buckby. It is situated in between the Brampton Road and Church Lane crossroads with the A428. It’s been there for over a year and is getting worse. Turning right from Brampton Rd on to A428 is dangerous, as the angle of crossing the pothole unsettles the car. It could cause a nasty accident on a bike.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 59 days.
