Tree is damaged problem

Reported in the Tree is damaged category by Gloucestershire County Council at 11:44, Wed 20 August 2025

FixMyStreet ref: 8052672.

Good morning
It is now a number of years since I contacted you regarding tree maintenance and a dangerous pavement outside my property at 11a Priory St, Cheltenham.

Your department put out two uneven path signs that have now been here for some time.

I last contacted you on 14 August 2024 to try and push things along and was told work woul commence before your budget year end in April. Nothing has been done to date. The signs are still out and regularly moved by the public and the elderly and push chairs are regularly avoiding the obstacles and moving into the road with obvious danger.

I now find the roots of the tree are damaging the entrance to my property, photos attached.

Could someone please contact me urgently regarding remedial work promised. I have come across teams in Cheltenham doing tree maintenance work and when approaching them am always referred back to Highways department.

Best regards
