Fixed
Reported holes, Not fixed!!!
Reported via mobile in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 09:51, Tue 19 August 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8044780.
Report 7638692 was for a number of holes which were marked up and repairs finally started yesterday. The contractors have not repaired all holes and damage as agreed, and the hole outside 21 (was in previous report) has been left even though it is in the centre of the road and marked yellow. The previous report has been marked as fixed which is incorrect.
Please can contractors return to complete the job as these holes have been waiting a long time to be repaired and marking the report as ‘fixed’ when they have not been, is not acceptable. Please do not mark this for another 6 months repair as these holes were on the previous report and this would then have missed your agreed timescales as per policies.
They have only repaired anything from top of the street to number 8 Bective Road and nothing further down!! It was late in the day when they started so likely wanted to go home….

Does the fact that these have been missed from a previous report that should have been completed last week not cause them to be more of a priority? The contractors left, only doing half a job and now residents have to wait again for the job to be completed correctly. By the time these are repaired there will be more holes and the process starts again!
