Traffic Light sequence at junction of Mill Bank, Queens Drive

Reported via desktop in the Traffic lights category anonymously at 14:29, Sat 16 August 2025

Sent to Liverpool City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8033676.

The traffic light sequence is out of sync and is causing traffic to back up on Queens Drive. The lights at Mill Bank at the junction of Queen Drive go to green then there is a 30 second delay before the lights at Mill Lane at the junction of Queen Drive change to green. This is causing traffic to back up on Queens Drive. If the lights at Mill Lane at the junction of Queen Drive went to green first followed by the lights at Mill Bank at the junction of Queen Drive going to green after 30 seconds this would ensure the traffic could flow better. This is exacerbated by Mill Lane being closed. Cars are also unable to use the filter light onto Mill Bank at the junction of Queen Drive as the traffic is backing up.

Updates

  • The issue still remains with the back up of traffic on Queens Drive and not being able to access the filter light to turn right onto mill bank
