The hedge running alongside the footpath between Half Way Thorn and Brampton School is so overgrown in places that pedestrians are forced to walk in the cycle lane and road in order to get past.

Investigation: Ongoing - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that the vegetation is the responsibility of the landowner. In accordance with the WNC Network Management Plan, we will contact the landowner and request they cut back their vegetation within 14 days of receipt of our correspondence. We will reinspect the vegetation to ensure they have complied.
