A section of the road has recently been dug up, presumably to lay/access underground pipework, and has been re-laid

The contractor has created effectively a speed bump across the entire road due to failing to get the infill even remotely level with the existing road. This is appalling work and the contractor needs to be brought back to fix the mess they have created.
