Sent to Test Valley Borough Council 3 minutes later
Opposite Nelson terrace, the tree's lowest branch is now resting on the phone lines, once in full leaf and the wind gets strong there could be damage. At the same location a large Laurel bush is blocking the light from the street light; like many more around Andover!

The tree is now sprouting leaves, once it is in full leaf it should weigh a few thousand kilos more!

No action as yet. Like all councils they are reactive rather than proactive even after being told of a potential hazard. This large tree leans out over the carriageway and has done for a several years and sure as eggs are eggs it will come down one wet and windy night. Once again it is down to poor management of resources. If work was done properly there would be no need for our input!

Still no action. The council probably don't class it as a hazard; until it comes down in a gale, blocks the road and could cause injuries and damage to properties/vehicles.

I phoned the local council last week and register my concerns. I doubt there will be any action soon! Therefore I will give up on the matter but should anything untoward happen then I will make it very public as to the situation
