Highway sign completely obscured by overgrown tree on verge at entrance to Priestlands estate

Reported via desktop in the Trees category anonymously at 09:37, Thu 14 August 2025

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8023712.

Priestlands estate has access only restrictions however one of the highways signs is completely obscured by an overgrown tree on the edge of the public footpath at the entrance to the estate (and just after the school exit gates). Because of the obscured sign drivers often miss that Priestlands has restricted access. This is problematic as the estate is right next to The Romsey School. This is a recurring problem as the tree is not pruned regularly.
