Bottom of Woodland Road. This pavement has been out of use for almost 12 months. the roadworks have been finished about 3 months ago. Periodically a truck comes to collect this rubble but what remains has been untouched for 6 weeks now. Pedestrians are forced to cross the road and manoevre their way around the dustbins & recycle bins or walk in the road. Any disable person would be in jeopardy crossing the road to the refuge/traffic island as this is a very busy corner with vehicles coming from left and right. This has already been reported on 7519172 and it is unbelievable that this has not been cleared by now. It only needs one truck load and a good sweep and wash down.

This continues to be a problem after the contractors left debris behind and also damaged the pavement. Pedestrians cannot use the crossing on Park Row by the Esso garage and continue up Woodlands Road on this side of the road without walking in the road. This is very dangerous as cars zoom round the corner to get up speed to go up the hill and it will get worse as the mornings/evening get darker. The alternative is to walk in the road on the other side as the narrow pavement is always half blocked with residents bins which are often overflowing (see photo) as they are incapable of recycling their waste and keeping their bins on their property. Please give this problem priority before there is an accident with a pedestrian and a car. If you cannot get the contractor to return and fix it then BCC will have to do it and bill them.
