Sensor can't see waiting peds

Reported via mobile in the Traffic lights category by Penny Gilg at 09:08, Wed 13 August 2025

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8017830.

There have been multiple occasions that I have been waiting at these lights, I have pressed the button. Then I step back slightly to keep me and my children safe, and then the sensor can't see me and the ped stage doesn't run. I keep an eye on the button light and re press it if it goes off, but still it doesn't see me. Recently it happened whilst I had a 2 year old on my shoulders in a heat wave! I think the range of the sensor needs adjusting. It happens to me most outside the coop heading to the job centre and some times the other way around.
