Dangerous Overhanging Trees
Reported via mobile in the Restricted Visibility / Overgrown / Overhanging category anonymously at 21:08, Mon 11 August 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8011485.
I have reported this before and despite receiving an acknowledgment, nothing has been done. The matter has since got dramatically worse!.When ever there are high winds we have tree limbs and debris falling into our garden. Plants have been damaged and it’s only a matter of time before a child is hurt or property damaged. I know my neighbour (no 11 Timms Lane) has made a complaint also .

I forgot to mention that you previously cut these trees back approximately 5 years ago but sadly not enough. They have grown back bigger and more over hanging than before. I mention this a) because of the danger they impose and b) because you have denied responsibility to one of my neighbours who is complaining about the same thing . These trees are on council property and this was previously acknowledged. I look forward to receiving your help in this matter .

I have received notification that you are investigating ownership and therefore responsibility of these trees. You have have cut them back before (2021 I think ) and therefore acknowledged ownership and responsibility then! There will be a serious accident soon which could cause damage to property or worse still, to human life. Please could you address this problem urgently .
