A week last Thursday, the 31st of August, I was walking down Begrave road, North side pavement, after a rain shower, and slipped on the very slippery sheet steel access cover, the larger or most Easterly of the 2 at the start of the Northside pavement, leaving Whiteladies Road. I broke my wrist in the fall, having had it x-rayed and confirmed by a hospital minor injuries unit. Therefore, I feel it is really dangerous and should be made safe with some kind of anti-slip treatment as soon as is possible to do so to stop others suffering the same fate, or worse, as me.
