Damaged & Potentially Dangerous Stone Wall

Following recent removal of overgrown vegetation and ivy along this section of pavement it has revealed that the old stone wall is in an extremely poor condition with several sections such as this one photographed having become damaged and falling down.

Additionally, the coping is lifting up and, in some areas, has completely disappeared.

There are numberours trees and shurbs that have self seeded and grown in very close proximity behind the stone wall that need carefully removing and then remedial works carried out to the stone wall before it completely crumbles and falls away into the road casuing a serious disruption to traffic flow through the village.
