Another Section of Stonewall Breaking Away and Falling Down

Reported via desktop anonymously at 09:53, Mon 11 August 2025

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8007096.

Following recent removal of overgrown vegetation and ivy along this section of pavement it has revealed that the old stone wall is in an extremely poor condition with several sections such as this one photographed having become damaged and falling down.

Additionally the coping is lifting up and in some areas has completely disappeared.

There are numerous trees and shrubs that have self seeded and grown in very close proximity behind the stone wall that need carefully removing and then remedial works carried out to the stone wall before it completely crumbles and falls away into the road causing a serious disruption to traffic flow through the village.
