Edge of Road Breaking Up and Crumbing Away

Reporting this defect once again.

The whole edge of the road running up the uphill section of Fosters Booth Road after the sharp corner until the entrance to Hill House Court is breaking and crumbling away.

This has led to the creation of a long deep narrow rut/gully at the edge of the road with the old concrete road surface showing through.

Other similar sections of road surface in this area have been patch repaired or resurfaced over the past few years and other similar defects in the area recently marked out for upcoming repairs.

Please can the whole edge of the road that runs between the two road drains be marked out for repairs and added to the job sheet for the repairs when they are carried out.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 59 days.
