Vegetation on Verge & Trees Badly Overgrown
Reported via desktop in the Restricted Visibility / Overgrown / Overhanging category anonymously at 09:26, Mon 11 August 2025
Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8006841.
Reporting again as still awaiting action to be taken along this verge to remove all the overgrown vegetation and trees as well as felling and removing all dead trees.
This verge has been reported numerous times and a tree surgeon from Pells has already been out to assess both sides of Butchers Lane in this area.
Land ownership has already been ascertained as being West Northamptonshire Council and therefore their responsibility.
The overgrowth is now causes issues for cars exiting from the private road by the Butchers Lane play area as it is blocking their visibility of pedestrians and vehicles coming up Butchers Lane, I myself had to perform an emergency stop the other week when a vehicle pulled out from the private road in front of me.
Please please please excalate and send a team out to cut all the overgrown vegetation, low hanging tree banches and remove all dead trees and shrubs to fully tidy up this verge.
