Dangerous parking / narrowing of road

The parking along the side of the road adjacent to Platt's Eyot is becoming dangerous. For some reason there is a lot more parked cars / vans etc along this stretch. Driving from the Hampton direction I am consistently met with a stream of traffice speeding their way through from the opposite direction. Driving from Lower Sunbury direction the situation is similar. I note that Double Yellows have been freshly painted along here but they really should not be any gaps in the painting to allow roadside parking. This will become a bigger problem after the summer when school & commuter traffic will return. Please can someone rethink this area. Thank you
