A metal post in the centre of Woollard has broken at its base

The metal post was noticed lying on a pathway in the centre of Woollard on Saturday morning. It had broken off at its base due to severe rust erosion and was likely to have fallen by being lent against rather through an act of vandalism. The post carries signage for a 20MPH limit through the village, a road junction, and the Avon Cycleway.
