Potholes created by the resurfacing of the road
Reported via desktop in the Road Defect category anonymously at 11:48, Sat 9 August 2025
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8001380.
The roundabout at the Chinese Roundabout was resurfaced 5 Aug to 8 Aug. However when resurfacing the road they simply could be bothered to fill in the area between the curb stones and manhole covers in the road which basically mean they created left two "potholes" in the road. In addition they resurfaced the road much higher than manhole covers thereby creating two sunken manhole covers which is basically like driving over potholes. As the road have been narrowed to create cycle lanes is is not possible to avoid these newly holes/ ditches/uneven road surface. I simply cannot believe this extremely shoddy and totally unacceptable "resurfacing" job has been signed off and accepted by the relevant authority. Clearly nobody can be bothered to ensure that these roadworks are completed to an acceptable standard
