Looks like someone has been down this alleyway and physically cut some of the brakes back a little. It needs a professional clear back of brambles. Some overgrown vegetation from a private dwelling is also adding to this problem

Up until 24th August the overgrown vegetation has not improved apart from a few branches of bramble being cut back a little. Considering how fast these things grow it seems a really good cutback is required, not just a few bits.
