Overhanging hedges.

Reported via desktop in the Roads and Carriageways category by Maureen Stephens at 21:43, Fri 8 August 2025

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8000226.

I reported about this issue in February 2024 and twice after that and have recently been told this matter has been closed and the investigation in complete. But it hasn’t been completed, in fact it has only got worse. The problem is on Church Road, Wheatley, opposite the Sun Pub, where the hedges at the back of houses in Templars Close, backing onto Church Road are well overgrown and protrude into the road by at least a metre, so much so that it causes great problems especially at rush hour. Perhaps a good time to deal with this problem is in August when there is no school traffic.
