11 maple avenue noisy manhole

Reported via iOS in the Manhole category anonymously at 19:14, Fri 8 August 2025

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7999920.

OCC met with TWA on the 17th July and OCC AGREED it was theirs yet you keep saying it’s not . From TWA We organised for our Network Engineer to meet on site with the Local Council on 17 July, to discuss who’s responsible to replace the noisy manhole cover. The outcome was confirmed, the Council is to replace the cover, so you’ll need to contact them for the next steps.

Next steps

I hope my response has demonstrated the manhole cover isn’t Thames Water responsibility and you need to contact the Local Authority to arrange a repair. As we’ve outlined our final response, I need to let you know that we’re unable to discuss this matter further.

If you remain dissatisfied with the outcome of your complaint, you have the option of asking CCW, the voice of the consumer, for an independent view on our position. You can contact CCW in one of the following ways:

Phone – 0300 034 2222 (between 8.30am and 5pm, Monday to Friday) Online form – go to ccw.org.uk/online-form or click here Letter – CCW, 23 Stephenson Street, Birmingham, B2 4BH Customer.Feedback@thameswater.co.uk
