Storm Ditch Heavily Blocked By Silt and Mud Build-Up

This storm ditch is heavily blocked with huge amount of silt and mud built up along with live vegetation growing in it.

You can see how bad the build-up is because the bottom of the ditch should be level with where the inlet pipe enters it from under the driveway entrances.

At present there is an area that the water has eroded and then a huge amount of mud and silt running all along the ditch.

The entire ditch needs dregding to the correct depth and width to enable the maximum water capacity and flow rate to enable storm water during heavily and prolongued rainfall to efffctively drain away.
